İstinyePark continues its "Fine Arts Park" events which were initiated to feed children's artistic spirit. The project has reached over 6,000 children. Bringing numerous well-recognized figures to children through its various workshops, İstinyePark is glad to welcome Dutch painter Piet Mondrian, who is considered the pioneer of the geometrical-abstract artistic approach, for the second time on Oct. 10, 11, 24, 25. The event will take place in front of Café Nero from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and welcomes all children between the ages 4 and 12. Mondrian believes that his art, which he calls "the beauty of simple figures," represents harmony and universal beauty. "Horizontal and vertical lines are the reflections of two opposing forces; they can exist everywhere, rule everything and their opposing actions result in life itself," the painter said about his work. Children who are discovering that figures and colors are also considered as art will design of their own geometrical figures with yellow, red and blue paints at the Mondrian Workshop. Children have found an opportunity to improve their imagination by becoming familiar with the works of Picasso, Dali, Van Gogh, Miro, Matisse, Seurat and Piet Mondrian. The "Summer Workshops," held during the summer holiday, gave children the opportunity to meet with abstract and pop artists.
