İsmail Altunsaray, a young bağlama virtuoso, will perform at Salon on Oct. 22. He learned how to play the bağlama at the age of 12. He continued his musical education in classical Turkish music at a conservatory and later received a master's degree in music. He performed with prominent bağlama virtuosos Neşet Ertaş and Erkan Oğur at the İTÜ Bağlama Days. He also performed with Erkan Oğur, Paco Pena and Miguel Ortega at the Berliner Philharmoniker Chamber Music Hall, a prestigious concert hall in Europe. Seen as the representative of the Neşet Ertaş school, Altunsaray will bring Anatolian sounds to the audience. Student and standing-room only tickets are TL 35, and tickets for the seating area are TL 45. Tickets are available online through Biletix or at İKSV box offices (every day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.).
