12th Bach Days gathers world-famous classical musicians

The 19th Ankara Jazz Festival hosts world-renowned musicians as a part of the 12th edition of Bach Days. The winner of a number awards, including the International Competition Musica Antiqua, Benjamin Alard is one of the biggest names in the world of the clavichord. He will perform Bach's most acclaimed composition, "Goldberg Variations," on his clavichord. Those who do not want to miss this unique performance can watch Alard live on Dec. 21 at the Akün Stage in Ankara. Legendary violinist and director of Hortus Musicus, the oldest Braque music ensemble in Europe, Andres Mustonen will visit Turkey ime with his jazz quartet. The Mustonen Art Jazz Quartet will perform jazz covers of Bach compositions on Dec.23 at the Ankara MEB Şura Hall. The tickets for these anticipated performances are available on the Biletix website.
