Workshops to put great directors' works under the microscope

Akbank Sanat is hosting a Cinema Workshops series under the title of "Different Perspectives in Cinema." The workshop features film trailers from different directors, and will also host panel sessions with guests from various fields in the cinema world. The workshops will explore the works of Theodoros Angelopoulos, Ingmar Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky, Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, Jean-Luc Godard, François Truffaut, Bela Tarr, Miklos Jancso, Michelangelo Antonioni, Federico Fellini, Roberto Rossellini, Luchino Visconti, Elio Petri, Pietro Germi, Gillo Pontecorvo, Fernando Solanas, Costa Gavras, Jim Jarmusch, Sydney Pollack, Arthur Penn, Sam Peckinpah, Ken Loach, Tony Gatlif, Aki Kaurismaki, Istvan Szabo, Zvyagintsev, Wajda, Kieslowski, Duras, Fabri, Resnais, Erksan, Erdem, Özgentürk, Kavur, Erden Kıral, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Yeşim Ustaoğlu, Akira Kurosawa, Milos Forman, Kim Ki Duk, Michael Haneke, John Schlesinger, Wim Wenders, Alan Parker, Peter Greenaway, Vittorio de Sica, Robert Bresson, Lars von Trier, Stuart Rosenberg, Luis Bunuel, Sergio Leone, Mike Nichols, Hal Ashby, Gus van Sant, Abbas Kiyarüstemi, Agnes Varda, Roman Polanski, Majid Majidi, Alfred Hitchcock, Sergei Eisenstein and Orson Welles. Each director will help us to discover consciousness while presenting different perspectives to the audience.
