The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BİFO) will share the stage with Freddy Kempf and perform an incredible concert under the baton of maestro Gürer Aykal tomorrow at Lütfi Kırdar Anadolu Auditorium. British pianist Kempf achieved his first major concert success at the age of 8 when he perfumed Mozart's 12th concerto with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Following his performance of "The Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini" by Sergei Rachmaninoff, he was named as the "Young Musician of the Year" by the BBC. Kempf held his first concert in the United States at New York City's Carnegie Hall, and continued to perform recitals in the most prominent venues around the world as he enlarged his repertoire by including compositions by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Prokofyev and Schumann. The artist has been focusing on chamber music, and is considered one of the most-on-demand soloists of the classical music world thanks to his charismatic interaction with the audience. Accompanied by BİFO, Kempf will perform two masterpieces by Gershwin.
