Russian pianist Nikolai Demidenko to perform in Istanbul

Russian pianist Nikolai Demidenko will perform as part of the Istanbul Recitals series' 2015-2016 season finale. Demidenko will come together with music lovers at Sakıp Sabancı Museum, The Seed, on June 4. The famous pianist will interpret pieces by Frederic Chopin and Sergei Prokofiev during the concert. Interpreting works by Bach-Busoni, Chopin, Clementi, Liszt, Medtner, Mussorgsky, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov, Schubert and Schumann on his albums, the 60-year-old pianist was granted the "Best Concerto Award" at the Gramophone Awards, the "Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik Award" and the "MIDEM Special Chopin Award" during his successful career. Having released 36 albums so far, Demidenko released his latest album titled "Chopin Piano Concertos" in 2010.
