Founded by Merve Pehlivan, Spoken Word Istanbul, which is a multilingual open mike night, is organizing a writer's retreat in Datça, one of the most beautiful and chill spots on the Aegean coast. The organization offers various packages to participants: Those who want to enjoy the tranquil nature and various events by the Spoken World can stay in Datça for seven days from June 13-19 or stay five nights June 15-19. There are many quiet spots in and around the hotel for writers who need clean air and relative silence, and the writers will get together once a day to share work and receive feedback. For those who want to avoid the routine, trekking, beach trips, yoga and trips to local villages are available. But most of the time, writers can work on their poems, novels, stories, biography or whatever genre they wish, surrounded by beautiful olive, bergamot and almond trees near the one-story hotel.
