This year in Rize and Artvin the International Tulum and Music Festival takes place from Aug. 2 to Aug. 7. In a written statement, Vira Cultural Arts Youth and Sports Association President Erdoğan Cineviz said the festival's most important goal is to strengthen peace, friendship and love between people. To achieve this, Cineviz said enhancing cultural relations in the international arena make a major contribution. He added: "The only thing we need is world peace. In a place where there is music and dance, it is possible to find the best examples of brotherhood, friendship and peace. For six years we have had young guests from all over the world who have participated in the Tulum and Music Festival and have found the opportunity to see these examples. These youngsters were the living witnesses of Turkish hospitality and peaceful activities in the festival. Upon returning to their home countries we saw their positive feedback on social media websites, as they reported about our country and how dance can be seen as a bridge for peace." Folk dance groups from Ankara, Bursa and Edirne will participate in the festival along with groups from Germany, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Moldova, Cyprus and Ukraine.
