UNIQ Open-air Stage continues with its summer nights, on Aug. 4 screening Icelandic drama "Hrutar" (Rams), starring Sigurdur Sigurjonsson, Theodor Juliusson and Charlotte Böving, is Iceland's nominee for the Academy Awards. The film focuses on the lives of two elderly brothers, Gummi and Kiddo, who have been living in the same valley. They continue breeding rams - the profession they inherited form their father. The bothers are the only competitors in a local ram competition to choose the best breed of ram in the region, but they have not spoken to each other for 40 years. One day, Kiddo's ram is diagnosed with a terminal illness, which is also contagious. The authorities believe that the best way to stop an epidemic is to kill all the animals at the farms. However, the brothers, although they have not spoken for 40 years, will not let this happen easily.
