Cult metal band to make live performance debut in Turkey

Empyrium, which has been considered as one of the most original bands in its genre since its foundation in 1994, will perform two consecutive nights in Turkey for the first time. Founded by Markus Stock and Andres Bach, Empyrium is a cult metal band that that various sub-genres such as doom metal to folk metal, neofolk and dark folk. Following the release of their first demo, Empyrium's musical journey started in 1996 with the release of their first album, "A Wintersunset..." followed by "Songs of Moors" and "Misty Fields" in 1997, "Where at Night the Wood Grouse Plays" in 1999, "Wheiland" in 2002 and after a 12 year break they continued their saga with their fifth album, "The Turn of the Tides," which hit the shelves in 2014. Nature is the source of Empyrium's musical influence. They combine it with their unique, dark folk sound and the result is something you do not often experience. All of their records are critically hailed masterpieces and their fascinating live performances do nothing but build up the already existing magical atmosphere around them.
