One ofthe world's most important composers and pianists, Balazs Havasi is scheduled to come to Istanbul for a special event on Oct. 23 at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center. Considered an ambitious musician, Havasi is the only classical pianist to give solo concerts to tens of thousands of people in stadiums. During his exclusive concert at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center, the Hungarian pianist will also be accompanied by various prominent musicians on stage. Many pianists, rock drummers and percussion orchestras will share the stage with Havasi along with Australian musician, composer and performer Lisa Gerrard. Gerrard, who assumed international fame with her band Dead Dance Club, previously collaborated with Hans Zimmer in the acclaimed soundtrack of Oscar-winning film "Gladiator."
