The İzmir State Symphony Orchestra (İZDSO) is to offer a special concert for the 93rd anniversary of the declaration of the Republic of Turkey. The Special Republic Day Concert will be given by the İzmir State Symphony Orchestra under the baton of maestro Hakan Şensoy. İzmir State Opera and Ballet as well as soloist Korcan Karar will accompany the orchestra on the stage. During the concerts, Muammer Sun's "Kurtuluş Film Muzikleri" (Soundtrack of "Kurtuluş") and Nazım Hikmet's "The Saga of Kuvva-i Milliye" telling the epic story of the Turkish Independence War will be performed.
