Salon İKSV, the performance stage at the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, is hosting New Zealander-British indie rock band the Veils tomorrow. The band was founded by Finn Andrews, who was described as the young and ripe version of Nick Cave and David Bowie by Geoff Travis, the founder of Rough Trade. The band gathered, dispersed, and finally re-formed thanks to the efforts of Andrews. He worked with the former guitarist from the band Suede, and put his signature to the hit song "Lavinia," a favorite not only for indie rock fans but people of all musical tastes. Prominent directors such as Polo Sorrentino and Tim Burton featured their songs in their films while David Lynch announced his collaboration with Finn Andrews in new episodes of cult TV series "Twin Peaks," which is scheduled for 2017. The Veils, whose latest album "Total Depravity" will hit the shelves this month, will be at the Salon İKSV stage with their incredible charisma and new songs.
