MarcusWorgull, a recent favorite from the Innervisions label, will heat up the stage tomorrow at Warehouse, the new temple of electronic music in Istanbul. Worgull fed his interested in various genres like hip hop, reggae, funk and soul, with records by his favorite artists bought with his meager savings at a small record shop named Groove Attack. Strangely, this shop moved to Cologne and became one of the leading record stores in Germany. Now the chain is managed by Worgull himself.
The artist is a true dreamer, deciding to invest in his music instead of going to university. Before he takes the audience to a new world of electronic music, YANG and Ogsan will jazz up the Warehouse. DJ and musician Anıl Yangın, who has been causing a stir in culture and arts circles in Turkey for his live performances will appear ahead of Worgull to play records under his new project YANG. Ogsan, who is known for beats that make people dance until they drop, plays music that he listened to when he was a small boy. His style can simply be described as "old school." Turkish electronic music lovers will no doubt hear his name often in the future.
