The "Current Turkish Architecture" exhibition of artist Cemal Emden's architecture photographs, is now open at the Gallery Işık Teşvikiye. Thirty-five photography pieces designed by different architecture firms and reflect Turkish architecture of 2010s are presented in the exhibition, which opened as part of of Architecture Week.
The architectural example in the exhibition were chosen by an independent consultative community, including professor Deniz Güner from Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Architecture, associate professor Funda Uz from Istanbul Technical University's Faculty of Architecture, Dr. Tayfun Gürkaş from Özyeğin University Faculty of Architecture and associate professor Burak Altınışık from Pamukkale University Faculty of Architecture and Design. The photographs in the exhibition, which is curated by Saitali Köknar, are also presented in a book edited by Köknar. The exhibition is open until Oct. 21.
