Established by sister designers Ece Ege and Ayşe Ege, renowned fashion brand Dice Kayek will launch their "Woven Tales" collection, inspired from fairy tales, on Monday next week at the Paris Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2016 Fashion Week taking place from Jan. 24-28. The collection will be introduced at France's prestigious fashion and design museum Musee des Arts Decoratifs at the Louvre Palace. Described as a tale of fantastic and surreal dream, "Woven Tales" will bring wool flannel and organza as soft as feather and cotton cloth.
Silk mikado, sateen and velvet textiles also introduce a different interpretation on haute couture. Created in Paris in 1992, Kayek made its debut show in 1993 and became a member of the French Federation of Fashion and of Ready-to-Wear Couturiers and Fashion Designers in 1994. In 2014, Victoria and Albert Museum acquired Dice Kayek's award-winning "Haghia Sophia," "Dome," and "Caftan" dresses for the museum's permanent collection.
