As many are preparing for New Year's Eve, choosing the right outfit for different party occasions becomes necessary. Either for a street party, a ballroom celebration or a home party, we have drawn up combinations that will make you look glamorous

Christmas is out of the way, but there are only a few days left for New Year's Eve, one of the most fashionable nights out. Every woman wants to look their best and glamorous for the year's most celebrated night. New Year's night is a chance to dress up, show off and ring in 2017 in style.

If there are any who still feel stumped on what to wear, there is no room for concern as we have some suggestions to add a sense of style and spark to your outfit for different New Year's party occasions this week on Saturday, Dec. 31.

It can be a street party, a house party or a gala night in a stylish hotel. Your look needs to suit the kind of occasion and setting you are going to be attending. One thing that should also be kept in mind is considering the possible weather condition - possibly snowy and cold - when choosing your night dress.

Street party look

Don't be a hero and grab your classic dress - which might be too thin - for a trendy street party in winter. You can look both elegant and dynamic in leather pants or a pair of leather-look black tights. While a long oversized sweater may be the right choice, you can complete your look with accessories such as leather gloves and hats.

The next thing you should be careful about is what shoes you will be wearing that night. You can prefer leather biker boots, bright-colored rain boots or small-heeled booties, avoiding high heels to preserve both your comfort and style throughout the whole night. You can complete your combination with a fur collar coat or a leather jacket.

Another recommendation for celebrating New Year's Eve at a street party would be about your make-up choice. As the weather might be rainy or even snowy, it is best to keep your make-up as light as possible. Hence, a waterproof mascara is just what you need. While a dark bronze blush will give an unnatural look to your red cheeks in cold weather, you can achieve a more natural look using a light pink blush or a shade darker than your own skin color.

Ballroom glamour

If your plan for New Year's Eve is to head to a 5-star hotel ballroom, then your style should match such elegance. A long velvet or silk black dress might be a good choice, but if you want to stand out among the other partygoers and wear something other than black and red, white would be good choice.

A romantic white dress with a long turtleneck or lace detailing is sure to make you stand out in a crowd. Another important detail is your choice of accessories. If your dress features eye-catching details, then opt for some plain accessories.

Without any doubt, red is a statement color that will be a great choice for women who do not want to break the Christmas tradition - it also beautifully compliments dark skin. However, be careful, as red accessories, exaggerated makeup and over-the-top hair can turn you into a Christmas decoration.

Make sure you choose a one-color dress. Royal blue or sea green are also ostentatious colors for ballroom parties. You might like to choose a dress with tassel details in these colors, which are all available in fashion designers' collections. Your makeup must be simple and natural. A bold lipstick without eyeshadow and blush will be enough for your make-up look. With a stylish dress, you can have knob hairstyle to give you a casual and daily look. The messy bun suits every face type and gives a natural look. Your choice of shoes should be as elegant as your dress. A woman's closet staple, stilettos, will complement your elegance on this special night.

House party chic

House parties are favorites for New Year's Eve. Your options for a nice outfit are vast if you are going to a house party this Saturday.

Being at home does not mean that you have to look shabby. Do not forget that tonight is a special night and you should be prepared with care. A cute jumpsuit paired bright opaque tights can be one of your first options. This year, long blazer collar vests featuring floral and bird print are quite popular. You can look cool by combining this vest with a plain shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. A tight ponytail allows you to look casual and chic at the same time.

Remember your best dress is your smile. Keep smiling at your New Year's Eve party wherever you are. Wishing you a joyful year!
