Turkish Lira is under pressure against the U.S. Dollar as early interest rate decrease is expected by Turkey's Central Bank (CBRT) at next week's meeting and the U.S. Federal Reserve's (FED) Wednesday statement emphasizing positive progress in the the U.S. economy.
The U.S. Dollar-Turkish Lira exchange rate increased to 2.4153 on Thursday, breaking the historic record.
On December 16, the U.S. Dollar had reached all-time high with 2.4140 against Turkish Lira.
