US dollar sets new record against Turkish Lira at 3.073 on Eid al-Adha

The U.S. dollar sets new record high against Turkish lira at 3.073 on Thursday, the first day of Eid al-Adha.
Currencies of developing countries are under pressure as they await U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen's speech on inflation, a key determinant in raising interest rates, due at 2100 GMT on Thursday.
As markets are closed in Turkey during the four-day long Eid al-Adha holiday, transactions are only being made in international markets.
The last record was set on September 14 at 3.069.
The euro also climbed to 10-day high level against TL at 3.46.
