Club Brugge, who host Beşiktaş tomorrow in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League Round of 16, announced that their official internet page of the sports club was hacked and people who are not registered to their ticket sale system bought tickets for the upcoming match for an hour. The Belgian football club stated that those who bought tickets after the hacking do not have registration in the system and their tickets will be declared null and void. It was reported that a huge number of the people who bought tickets illegally are Beşiktaş supporters. A fan said in his statement that the fans who love Beşiktaş were desperate because Club Brugge has a policy of not selling tickets to foreigners and Beşiktaş sells its tickets, which are 1,250 in total, due to UEFA rules in Istanbul. "As soon as we learnt that we can buy tickets on Club Brugge's official website, we gave our citizenship details, paid for the tickets and bought nearly 500 tickets for the match. We used our consumer rights and bought tickets from a website that officially sells tickets. We paid for them, we will go to the match," he continued. In order to prevent traveling Beşiktaş fans, Club Brugge requires Belgium citizenship and registry for two previous matches to buy tickets. The media was pondered what the sports club will do about the 500 match tickets that were purchased by Beşiktaş fans and whether they will be allowed into the stadium or not.
