FIFA says Osaka and Yokohama will be host cities for the 2015 Club World Cup in Japan.
The Nagai Stadium in Osaka previously hosted the athletics world championships in 2007 and three matches at the 2002 World Cup.
The International Stadium in Yokohama staged the 2002 World Cup final and has previously hosted six Club World Cup finals.
The Club World Cup includes champions of FIFA's six continental confederations plus the host nation's league title winner. Auckland City and Club America of Mexico have already qualified for the Dec. 10-20 tournament.
Japan got the hosting rights for 2015 and 2016 after the only other bidder, India, withdrew last November.
