Current chairman of Fenerbahçe sports club, Aziz Yıldırım, re-elected for 12th time

Aziz Yıldırım has been elected to his 12th term as chairman of Fenerbahçe sports club at Sunday's general assembly.

Yıldırım defeated his rival Hulusi Belgü after winning 5,504 votes at the election, while Belgü received 1,144 votes.

Aziz Yıldırım has been at the helm of Fenerbahçe, one of the biggest sports clubs in Turkey, since 1998.
