Galatasaray will play a friendly match against Real Madrid on Aug. 18, according to a statement from the Istanbul club on Saturday. "As part of the 36th edition of the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy, Real Madrid and Galatasaray will play at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium at 23:30 on Tuesday August 18," the statement said. The two teams met for a similar friendly back in 2011 in Madrid, which the hosts won 2-1. In 2000, UEFA Cup holders Galatasaray triumphed against Champions League winners Real Madrid 3-2 in the UEFA Super Cup final.
