Qatar-based broadcaster beIN Sports has announced that it has secured the broadcast rights for the English Premier League for a further three years. The broadcaster made the announcement late last night as it launched its third English sports channel. beIN Sports won the right to broadcast Premier League matches two years ago and is now in its third season of a three-year rights deal. The new contract will see beIN Sports broadcast Premier League matches for a further three seasons, up to and including the 2018/19 season. Following the announcement, Richard Scudamore, CEO of the Premier League said "beIN SPORTS is doing a great job with promoting sports specifically football and Premier League."
