Galatasaray won only eight of 17 matches and drew in six matches while they lost three matches.
Ahead of the second half of the season, Galatasaray signed Dutch footballer Ryan Donk from fellow Istanbul club Kasımpaşa in a 2.5 million-euro ($2.69 million) deal. The oldest teams in Super League are Sivasspor with an age average of 30 and Galatasaray with 29.4.
