Turkish giants Galatasaray have sold its backup goalkeeper Cenk Gönen to Spain's Malaga for a fee of 200,000 euros, the club announced Wednesday.
Galatasaray revealed that the 29-year-old "keeper has signed a three-year contract with the La Liga outfit."
After a successful medical, Gönen has started training with his new side.
The reserve goalkeeper had a two-year stint with Galatasaray and mostly featured in Turkish Cup matches.
Earlier on July 9, the Istanbul side announced that they have sold Turkish defender Semih Kaya to Sparta Prague for 2 million euros.
