Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo and Dutch winger Jeremain Lens who played for their archrivals Fenerbahçe on loan, have followed Pepe in joining Turkish champions Beşiktaş reportedly on a three-year deal. To announce the signing of Negredo, Beşiktaş revealed a video in which he answered fellow summer signing Pepe's plea for him to join the club.
The Spanish striker arrives on what is said to be a three-year deal, with the Turkish champions reportedly beating Swansea City and Leeds United to his signature. Negredo arrives at Beşiktaş having spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough. The 31-year-old Spaniard scored just nine league goals for Boro in 2016-17 as they were relegated from the Premier League, having managed only five in La Liga for Valencia the previous campaign. Beşiktaş have also reached an agreement with Sunderland to signLens, beIN SPORTS Turkey have reported.
Lens joined Sunderland from Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev forin 2015, making 23 appearances in all competitions in his first Premier League season. The Netherlands international spent the majority of last season on loan at Fenerbahçe as Sunderland finished bottom of the Premier League. Beşiktaş are seeking a third successive Super League title in 2017-18.
