Syrian graffiti artist Aziz Esmer sent a message of solidarity through art to Al-Jazeera journalist Wael ed-Dahdouh, who, lost his journalist son Hamza ed-Dahdouh in the Israeli attacks on Gaza.

Known for depicting major global events by drawing on the walls of the destroyed buildings in Idlib, Esmer, this time, illustrated the tragedy experienced by the Al-Jazeera journalist in Gaza. Drawing the map of Palestine alongside ed-Dahdouh's portrait on a school wall in Idlib, Esmer conveyed a message of support to the Palestinian journalist through his work.
