A minibus driver was detained on Friday for the attempted rape of a young girl in the southern city of Adana, next to Mersin, where another girl, fending off a rape attempt by a minibus driver, was brutally murdered in February. The 17-year-old girl told police the driver attempted to rape her when she was the only passenger left on the minibus. The 25-year-old suspect had scratches on his face when he was brought to the courthouse for interrogation.
