Police raid organized crime groups in Istanbul’s Bağcılar district

Istanbul Police Department's Directorate for Combating Organized Crime teams launched simultaneous operations on early Tuesday against organized crime groups, with the assistance of special operations police, in more than 10 previously determined addresses in the Bağcılar district.
Police teams entered a four-story apartment building in Bağcılar by breaking the door and to detain a suspect.
A large number of suspects were taken into custody, while it was reported that police also searched houses upon retaining information from some of the suspects.
