Police across Turkey detained 46 suspects in operations against infiltrators of the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ) in ASELSAN, a prominent defense contractor.
Prosecutors in capital Ankara investigating FETÖ presence in ASELSAN has ordered the detention of 84 people and the operations to capture the remaining suspects were underway when Daily Sabah went to print.
Suspects are accused of membership in a terrorist group for their links to FETÖ, which was behind last summer's foiled coup attempt.
Detainees include current and past employees of ASELSAN, which is among the pioneers of Turkey's efforts for a domestic defense sector. Prosecutors say suspects were users of ByLock, an encrypted messaging app that was exclusively used by FETÖ.
