Two Irish nationals, accused of theft, were released by a Turkish court under judiciary control yesterday.
The couple, identified as Joseph Swan, 35, and Amanda Joanne Jones, 37, was also banned from traveling abroad for two cases of theft in western Turkey's Kuşadası.
Police detained the couple Wednesday after they were accused of stealing a gold necklace from a jeweler and a cellphone from a pharmacy.
The court ruled out an arrest for the duo but ordered them to stay in Turkey and report at a police station in Kuşadası twice a week throughout the trial.
