A suspect released pending trial for his links to the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ) was arrested again Wednesday after police discovered a huge cache of child pornography in his possession.
Necdet A., a father of five who worked as a primary school teacher in the southern city of Adana, was detained earlier on charges of membership in the terrorist group blamed for July 15, 2016 coup attempt.
After investigating CDs, a hard drive and computer, police discovered 19,000 photos of naked children, 4,000 child pornography videos and other similar digital materials in the suspect's home.
The suspect claimed none of it was his. Police say he downloaded such materials over the past 15 years. Necdet A. was dismissed from his teaching position after the discovery.
