Turkish police units on Saturday have detained 82 people with suspected links to the Daesh terrorist group, including 77 foreigners and five Turkish nationals.
Counter-terrorism units conducted simultaneous raids in 16 addresses in 10 districts.
Initial details suggest that the suspects had fought for Daesh in Iraq and Syria, with some plotting terror attacks in Istanbul.
Documents and digital data related to the terrorist group have been seized in the raids.
The suspects included citizens of Gulf countries, North African countries, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Chechnya.
