A Ukrainian woman was arrested at Istanbul's Atatürk Airport after police found over two kilos of cocaine in her suitcase, police sources said yesterday.
Drug teams, together with anti-smuggling squads, searched the suitcase of the passenger, identified by the initials Y.B., who landed in Istanbul from Sao Paulo, Brazil on Oct. 31.
Two kilos and 50 grams of cocaine hidden in tin cans was found in the suitcase of the suspect, who was later remanded into custody.
