Environment report for Istanbul Golden Horn Marinas and Complex accepted

The Environmental Impact Assessment (ÇED) report prepared for the Integrated Project of the Istanbul Golden Horn Marinas and Complex has been accepted. The project includes three hotels, two marinas and a number of piers.
The General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment Permission and Inspection made a statement on the issue on its website.
"The ÇED report prepared for the Integrated Project of the Istanbul Golden Horn Marinas and Complex, which is planned to be constructed by the Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ministry's General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments in Istanbul's Beyoğlu district, has been found adequate and it has been finalized by the Board of Investigation and Assessment. The ÇED report finalized by the board will be opened to view for 10 days at the Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization to receive reviews and suggestions from the public.
These views will be taken into consideration during the ministry's decision-making process on the project. In light of the public's view, the ministry might request to fill deficiencies in the report, carry out further studies or regather the Investigation and Assessment Board. The finally accepted ÇED report has been open to the public for 10 days. Individuals can apply to the Environment and Urbanization Ministry or the Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization to express their views and suggestions in this period."
