Famous manicurist Marco Bonvicini visits Istanbul

Famous nail designer Marco Bonvicini, famous for his nail compositions, has worked with celebrities such as Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez and has worked at the World Championship in Nail Art eight times. He will now come to Istanbul as the guest of a private medical institution.

Bonvicini, who did the nails of Ferhan Talib, a fashion blogger with more than 50,000 followers on Instagram, said: "Normally, medium-length nails are the best because nail care at this length is easier. It is important to remember that our hands are one of our most important parts of our body, as we do many things using our hands. When it comes to the fashion world, hands have a different importance because your hand appears only once in a shooting."

Emphasizing that even though medium-length nails are generally better, long nails can make one more beautiful as well. "I worked with some international celebrities such as Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez, and it was so nice to spend time with them. I have also observed that long nails can sometimes glorify a woman. For example, Lady Gaga has long nails because she looks beautiful with them," Bonvicini said.

Visiting Estetik International for the second time, Bonvicini said: "It is really good for me to work in Istanbul. Moreover, I have many friends in Istanbul whom I love so much and I like working with them. Hands are important for women and Turkish women have really beautiful hands. Particularly, I admire Emel Sayın's hands."

Using the #Ojesizgezmeyenlerkulubu hashtag, Talib highlighted that Bonvicini's designs are very elaborate. "Very long nails are difficult to use and care for. Thus, I believe it is beneficial not to grow our nails very long. Besides, I think the nails of Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga are too crazy and ostentatious to use in daily life. However, all women like applying nail polish and want to have beautiful and well-groomed hands. We also publish photographs shared with the #Ojesizgezmeyenlerkulubu hashtag on Instagram," Talib said. She also added that lemon is very beneficial for nails. "After you squeeze lemon onto a salad, you can apply it to your fingers, which will both soften and moisturize nails.
