The "marriage school" project initiated by the İzmit Metropolitan Municipality at the Yunus Emre Culture Center offers training to couples every Saturday. In February, 41 couples completed their training and received certificates. With the motto of "be happier," the project aims to raise awareness among newlyweds and future couples about family management and communication strategies to avoid possible problems. The trainers underscore the national, social and moral importance of family under different subjects such as "communication in marriage," "family and health" and "family law." As a first in the city, the free psychological consultation service has attracted locals from different districts.
