The Yıldız Technical University hosted an interesting competition where participants flew paper airplanes weighing only 100 grams. The event organized by Red Bull and taking place at the university's Davutpaşa Campus Sports Hall. Following a one-hour trial, the competition in three different categories, including acrobatics and flying paper airplanes in the longest distance and duration of flight. One of the participants, Mehmet Yetkin, said that his paper airplanes took him back to his childhood. Ecem Su Işık also said that she attended the competition for entertainment. She competed in the three categories, but did not win in any of them. The winners of the competition in Turkey will attend the paper airplane championship scheduled to be held in Salzburg, Austria.
