The Zeytinburnu Municipality's social responsibility initiative Knowledge Houses continues to pioneer the field of education. Established 10 years ago, the Houses facilitate its members' self-development with cultural, artistic and educational courses. Knowledge Houses have broken new ground and introduced a robotics building workshop to contribute to the development of fundamental 21st century skills, such as critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration. The workshop intends to improve its members' 3-D thinking capability and their perception of space and shapes as well as imagination and motor skills. The workshop will also help attendees to realize their skills and strengthen their will to invent.

The robotic building workshop, which will continue for 12 weeks, will be supervised by an expert team under the supervision of Assistant Professor Burak Şişman of Istanbul University. The materials used in the robotics building process will be introduced to the trainees. Moreover, toward the end of the workshops, attendees will be able to construct robots that can operate for multiple purposes. Zeytinburnu Municipality Knowledge Houses invites all its members who are interested in robotics and have a broad imagination to the workshop.
