Boston woman gives birth unaware of pregnancy

A 47-year-old woman in the U.S. did not realize she was expecting a baby when she went to the hospital with abdominal pain. Judy Brown, 47, from Massachusetts, went to Beverly Hospital with severe stomach pain, reported WCVB news. Last week, Brown gave birth to Carolyn Rose, a healthy 8-pound baby, an hour after her arrival to the hospital. Brown and her husband, Jason, have been married for 22 years and Carolyn is their first child. "The first-time mom said she had had some things going on with her body, but thought she was moving into the next phase of life," the Boston-based news station said. Brown was aware that her body had undergone some changes, yet thought that it was due to menopause. She said Carolyn is already "daddy's little girl." Jason Brown said their daughter will be an only child.
