Baby care and breastfeeding booths are becoming more common across Turkey, allowing mothers to meet the baby's needs in a quiet and convenient place when they are out.
New baby care and breastfeeding booths opened last week in the southern province of Antalya, equipped with all baby care materials that mothers can use for free. The green booths have been set up at the city's busy points like the avenue where the municipality building is situated as well as Güllük Street and the Clock Tower.
The booths are equipped with nappy changing tables and a breastfeeding chair. Baby care-related information is also available in the booths. The project, initiated with the support of the Health Ministry, was first launched in Bursa in July 2015.
