The giant fountains took three months to be installed in the lake. The system has dozens of 30-meter-long fountains. EXPO Lake is also the first system in Turkey with robotic nozzles that can move in three directions. There will be 90-minute shows presented on the water curtain with lasers of geometric shapes.

EXPO 2016 Antalya can be seen from a plane

Small visitors will be welcomed with game and activity hills in three sizes on the Children's Island, which was built in the shape of a blue dome and can be accessed by four bridges. Along with the video mapping, passengers on planes approaching the Antalya airport can see the images projected onto the canopy-shaped Children's Island as well as visitors in the exhibition area.

4,000 children to visit in 1 day

The activities organized on the Children's Island include the themes of the sky, underground, space and water. During the 10 workshops, the children can learn origami, design, make paper sculptures and paint. Forty children can participate in one event at the same time. Four-thousand children will be able to enjoy the activities on the Children's Island free of charge in one day.

Full security

All safety measures at the EXPO 2016 Antalya exhibition area were taken in detail. The safety measures got full marks as a result from an inspection by a committee of British police inspectors. The safety measures and emergency action plans that will be implemented in the exhibition area were elaborately designed. There are 481 security personnel positioned around a 5-kilometer parameter along with 67 check points, vehicle search systems, XR devices, 160 panic buttons, fire alarms and emergence announcement systems around the area. In addition, 360-degree rotating cameras were installed in the exhibition area.
