Extending over an area of almost 61,000 square meters, Turkey's one of biggest water parks is being constructed in the popular coastal town of Çeşme. Expected to open its doors in July, Oasis Water Park includes pools for all ages as well as playgrounds, restaurants, cafes and green recreational areas.
The facility is expected to attract 700 visitors on the weekdays and 2,000 visitors at weekends. Çeşme Mayor Muhittin Dalgıç said, "We are building Turkey's biggest aqua park." A total of 10 slides, a children's pool, an adult's pool and Space Race, a special slide that was launched by Turkish manufacturer Polin, in the U.S. last year are among the water park's features.
The Space Race has a capacity of eight people while the King Cobra, another pool slide for couples, will be installed.
