Foreign photographers traveled to Cappadocia in Nevşehir province, famous for its fairy chimneys, to organize photo shoots in the historical and tourist locations in the region. Ukrainian photographers came to the region at the invitation of the Cappadocia Tourism Region Infrastructure Service Association (KAPHİB) to take a photography tour of one of Turkey's most beautiful natural regions.

KAPHİB Director Levent Ak spoke to reporters and said that tours in the region are now organized under one roof. Explaining that the KAPHİB will hold a fair in Ukraine, he said: "Upon completion of negotiations in Ukraine, we invited a group of eight photographers and journalists to Cappadocia and they have been on a photography tour to the touristic and historic areas of the region for the last four days." Mykola Ivashchenko, one of the Ukrainian photographers touring Cappadocia, said he traveled to the region previously, pointing out that Nevşehir is a unique place compared to others in the world. He recommends that international tourists start their tour of the region in Cappadocia, adding: "This place is so beautiful that I want to come here regularly. Cappadocia is a heaven for photographers as well because there is no need for Photoshop. In fact, we have already begun sending photos to Facebook, magazines and websites. I have travelled to many countries around the world and I have seen similar places in Greece and China but Cappadocia is totally unique."

Photographer Yuriy Chernevyg, on his first visit to Cappadocia, said: "One of my friends came here to attend to a photography competition two years ago and when I saw the photos he took here I told myself that I have to visit Cappadocia one day. This place is like no other place on earth. The hot air balloons and the history of the region are marvelous. Every morning we woke up early to take the most beautiful photos."
