Family traveling is apparently on the rise among Turkish people according to a new survey by Copenhagen-based travel agency Momondo.
The survey, carried out in 23 countries, shows that Turkey prefers family traveling the most among European countries, ranking second in the world after China. With 78 percent, Turkish travelers enjoy traveling as couples or with children. Spanish people follow Turkey, coming in third in this category with 76 percent. According to the survey, Finnish people enjoy solo traveling with 56 percent. Norway and Romania come out as the countries that prefer to go on holiday with friends.
The next result that the survey demonstrates is that Turkish families like going on holiday with their children. The age group that prefers taking their children with them are those between 36 and 55.
Another finding is that 35 percent of the surveyed participants said they frequently go on holiday with their parents. This group mostly consists of young people aged 18 to 22. In particular, Turkish female travelers tend to go on holiday with their parents.
Last but not least, only 5 percent of the people surveyed said they will go on a trip with their mother-in-law as many people prefer not to.
