In the age of technology, people's lives are dominated by social media, making life difficult for loners or people who do not have friends.
With this in mind, the Japanese company Family Romance has announced that they are initiating a new service called Real Appeal which essentially allows users to rent out "selfie friends," who pose with their customers for two hours for around $70.
According to RocketNews24, Family Romance provides a photo catalogue of people, and customers are able to select gender, age, and a number of visual characteristics they would prefer in their friends.
It is also possible to rent a group of people for family photos. If the customer wants a scene where friends are eating and drinking, any bill incurred is the responsibility of the customer.
