Having great importance in bringing and binding people together and providing them with a medium to express themselves, art develops correspondingly with the history of humanity. The cultural heritage, which comes to light with several organizations held every year, will give the message, "Art is Peace," with more than 270 participants from 40 countries at the 14th International Fair of Traditional Crafts and Local Production this year. The fair with the theme of "Art is Peace" will bring together art, peace, friendship and brotherhood from Dec. 1-10 at the ATO Congresium.

The clothing and dishes of Central Asian countries, engraved works of African countries, Persian handcrafts, ancient productions and silk carpets will be on display at the 14th International Fair of Traditional Crafts and Local Productions. Hüseyin Kopar, a famous shoemaker from Maraş province, who has made sandals for cult films such as Harry Potter, the Lord of the Rings, and Gladiator in his 3-meter-square store, will also attend the 14th International Fair of Traditional Crafts and Local Productions.

Talking about the fair, the coordinator of the 14th International Fair of Traditional Crafts and Local, Productions Remzi Çayır said, "The countries that attend the fair will have the opportunity to exhibit their cultural productions and sell their handcrafts and souvenirs. There will be more than 270 firms from 40 countries. This fair presents an opportunity to develop our business connections and to carry them cross-border. Additionally, Turkey's regional handcrafts and food products will be showcased. The products that come to the mind when Turkey is mentioned, such as the copper of Kahramanmaraş province, the blankets of Siirt province, the filigree of Mardin province and Beypazarı silver will all be on display. The fair will run for 10 days starting from Dec. 1. Our fair presents an authentic and traditional festival to Turkey, growing with international participants every year."
