Borusan Art offers a training program geared for young classical music students and artists to improve themselves and gain stage experience during the 2016-2017 concert season. According to the statement released by Borusan Art, Akademi BİFO, which will launch a training session for opera artists in September, will help young artists to gain more experience in front of an audience.
After completing the training, the opera artists will have a chance to take over the stage during the performance of Richard Strauss' opera "Der Rosenkavalier," which will be staged in memory of late world-renowned Turkish opera artist Leyla Gencerin March 2017. Akademi BİFO will offer master classes to the trainees under the guidance of Sascha Goetzel and Yekta Kara along with various domestic and international instructors.
Akademi BİFO will eliminate the applicants in two phases: After the initial applications, the Board of Assessment will conduct a pre-selection among the applicants. Following the first elimination, those invited to the audition will be announced at the official website of Borusan Art www.borusansanat.com. Applicants that are successful at the audition, will receive diction, musical style and performance, coaching, master class and stage classes for the "Der Rosenkavalier" performance in March 2017. The program, which is free of charge, will be launched on Aug. 1 and continue until Aug. 20.
