The "Işığını Yansıt" (Shine Your Light) contest is inviting young talents who are ready to share their voices with millions.
Applications to participate in the contest can be sent until July 31.
Organized by Marmara Forum in the beginning of May in order to introduce new voices to Turkey, the jury of the competition includes the legendary musician of the band Moğollar, Cahit Berkay, veteran actor and singer Zuhal Olcay, successful photographer Nihat Odabaşı, and organizer and manager Selçuk Kaya.
The winner of the contest will sing a song composed by Cahit Berkay along with a duet with Olcak. Nihat Odabaşı will shoot the video of the single from the album to be released and Kaya will become the manager of the winner to further their career.
Participating in the competition is pretty easy. Participants just need to fill out the form available on www.isiginiyansit.net until July 31 and upload a singing performance video.
The nominees can both attend solo or in a group. The final 16 after the jury votes will perform on Marmara Forum's stage and sing to the public, and eight will be selected for the semifinals.
Voting will be carried out through digital platforms after the semifinals and the final six nominees will again perform before the jury and the public.
